in the dark room (black background), if a beam of light comes in
from the door, then the dust particles may be seen, which is called
Tyndall phenomenon in photology, and this is why we can see the
stars only in the night instead of in the day time. The
black-background microscope is just designed based on this theory.
If the black background microscope system is adopted, the fine
structure and crystallinesubstancecontents in the samples of transparent or semi-transparent
biological cells such as germs, microorganism and cells can be more clearly seen. Under the black
background, what you can see is the luminous sample outlines and
details. The highest resolution of the microscope is 0.2 micron, while the black-background microscope can greatly improve
the detail structure resolution of samples, and can enable you to
see the subparticles above 0.004 micron, namely, the sub-microscopic structure,
therefore it is especially suitable to observe the superfine
